Your right to opt out
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information. You can exercise that right using the methods below, and you do not need an account with us to do so.
What “sale” and “sharing” mean here
When you call a number on this site, we pass the details of your request to an independent service professional or professional network so they can contact you back, and we receive compensation for that referral. We also use advertising and analytics technologies that may transfer identifiers about your visit to advertising partners. Under California law those activities may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.
How to submit a request
- Email. Send a request to [privacy@yourdomain.com] with the subject line “California opt-out”.
- Mail. Write to [Company legal name], [Mailing address].
- Browser signal. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal for the browser and device on which it is enabled.
Authorised agents
You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for written proof of authorisation and may ask you to confirm the agent is acting for you.
Verification
To protect your information we may ask you for details that let us match your request to the records we hold, such as the phone number you called from. We use that information only to process the request.
Non-discrimination
We will not deny you services, charge a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
Other California rights
You also have the right to know what personal information we collect, to correct inaccurate information, to delete information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. See our Privacy Policy for how to exercise those rights.
